Have you written a play that you think Home Theatre Productions would like to produce?

Home Theatre Productions is now accepting script submissions for an upcoming show! Inspired by pop culture, fan culture, and all things geek, we aim to bring popular culture aesthetics and narratives to the theatre. We are invested in providing accessible performances for the community, and want to make sure that audiences feel welcome in an atmosphere that encourages community, sincerity, and openness.

Scripts can be either one act plays – in which case they would likely be paired with another one act play in a sort of “double feature” – or full length plays. However, they must be original works that have not been previously produced, and must fit within our company’s mandate. We are especially interested in “genre” works (such as fantasy, sci-fi or horror) and works exhibiting queer and/or feminist content.

The show will run for 5 performances. The exact dates are currently TBD due to COVID-19 restrictions. Playwrights will be compensated $50 per performance, for a total of $250.
